We’ve had an interview with Aden Industrial Sales Manager Ersan Ergüder. Mr. Ergüder, from whom we received information about the improvements in Aden Industrial, which welcomed the new year in a new and modern facility, made statements on product groups and services.
First of all, can we get to know you?
I am Ersan Ergüder, I’m in charge as Sales Manager at Aden Industrial. I have been in this industry for about 20 years. I worked as a regional manager in an Italian company before. I have been working on power transmission for about 20 years.

Could you briefly introduce Aden Industrial for our readers?
Aden Industrial is a company that was established 8 years ago and serves the Turkish industry with various exclusive products on power transmission. Among these exclusive distributors are Watt Drive-Weg Group motor and gearbox groups from Austria, Motive Group worm gear reducer and motor groups from Italy, Italian Unimec screw jack groups and Zambello extruder gearboxes. All these brands are world-leading companies with the highest quality in their sphere. At the same time, Aden Industrial started MAS Group assembly of Watt Drive with the newly formed assembly line. For now, up to 5.000 Nm assembly work has been done. MAS Group assembly, in order to provide faster product from stock with the help of modular assembly and to make faster delivery, was brought to Turkey by Aden Industrial. In addition, we also have service and maintenance services. Regardless of the brand, we also provide service and maintenance services for all gearbox models including the planet up to 1 million Nm.

Can we get more detailed information on the brands and product groups which you implement distribution?
We have four groups of which we make distribution.
Our main group is Watt Drive WEG Group. Watt Drive serves in helical, bevel shaft, parallel shaft, helical worm and motor gearboxes group. The manufacturing plant is located in the Markt Piesting district in Austria, very close to Vienna. After the acquisition of WEG Group in 2011, Watt Drive started serving as a group company under the name of WEG Group. .The gearboxes in the product range, which we name EUSAS, coming from Europe USA and Asia, stand out especially with gaps down to 3 arcminute, ability to operate with all voltages around the World and operation capability without torque loss up to 100Hz.
Our second group is Italian Motive, is our product group that we serve on worm gearboxes and motors. In these, we deliver the product range that makes a difference against other brands with the use of bevel bearings and self-lubricating bearings directly from stock.
Our third group, Unimec Screw Jack, are more project-based product groups. It provides service in lifting, pushing and pulling applications up to 200 tons with trapezoidal screw and ball screw alternatives from 18 mm to 250 mm screw diameter. Unimec group provides complete project opportunity with screw jacks as well as deflection gearboxes and shaft couplings.
Finally, Zambello is a world leader in extruder gearboxes. We serve with Zambello Group for single screw, twin screw extruder gearboxes.

Which are the main industries you serve?
It’s hard to make any distinction among industries, but at the first sight, general machinery manufacturing, steel/iron, food industries, storage and conveyor systems are the main industries we serve. But, as I mentioned, motor gearboxes group involves such a great range that it’s hard to make any distinction.
Aden Industrial offers maintenance services, independent of brand
Can we get information about your after sales services?
In our after sales activities, our maintenance services have come to the fore with our new structure. In our new factory, where we moved last January, we provide maintenance services, independent of brand, in a closed area of 1500 square meters. At the same time, we continue to provide services for our own brands by backing our product, such as maintenance service and bond rate changes, both with or without warranty.
How do you assess the competitive market environment in Turkey?
The Turkish market is a highly competitive environment, especially for the motor and gearbox product line. First of all, there are many brands both of European origin, foreign and domestic production. In recent days, the pie has shrunk in the declining structure of the world economy. Shares taken from the cake also shrank. Price alone is not enough to compete. It is also necessary to run after the service and follow the product. At this point, Aden Industrial really makes a difference. Why is that? Because both Hakan Doğusoy, the founder of the company, and I think that we are really good in this sector with 20 years of experience and that we provide very good service in this regard. We try to meet the price competition with this kind of side services and technical support. Otherwise, it is very difficult to offer a solution based solely on price under these economic conditions.
Are there any new projects you plan to implement in the short or long term?
In the first place, the assembly line of the Mas series, which we started working on in December and put into service in January, is the first agenda item for us. Improving this, maybe enlarging the series up to 5.000 Nm in the future shall be the next step. We are here to serve Turkey now, maybe later time abroad, Turkic Republics may, Iran may have plans such shipments from Turkey. But in the first place, as I said, our most important goal is to develop the assembly line we have established.
