Gearboxes for Inverse Direction Double Screw Extruders, Parallel and Bevel

PARALLEL TYPE

Although the gearbox range is high for inverse direction double screw extruders, Zambello continously upates both standard products and special customer rpoducts

NRB Series –  with torque density of more than 17 Nm/cm3 transmitted per shaft

NRB Series gearboxes are in horizontal position to be connected to electrical motor with belt drive. It has drive ratio range of i:25 at maximum. 

ZT3 Series – with torque density of more than 17 Nm/cm3 transmitted per shaft

Though ZT3 Series geaboxes have the same qualities with NRB series, it has a vertical assembly position. In this case, the connection between the gearbox and the electrical motor is provided with a flexible coupling. In U placement, with electric motor connectivity an extruder can be placed. Drive ratios can range between i:14 to i:80.

TST (Double Super Torque) series – have two versions.

It provides high performance values for TST-H and TST-2H series.

TST-H Series – with torque density of more than 22,5 Nm/cm3 transmitted per shaft

TST-2H series gearboxes are the best, advanced technology products used in heavy work. Torque transmission is provided with double inverse unit. Drive ratios can range between i:14 and i:80.

Bevel Type

Zambello suggests new ZC3 series for bevel double screw extruders, to complete the gearboxes for inverse direction double screw extruders. They are available now in 3 body options for extruders with 55 mm, 65 mm, 80 mm screw diameters. As the main feature, these gearboxes form of bevel gears in accordance with AGMA 11-DIN. As well as other Zambello products, gearboxes of ZC3 series transmit high level of torque.
