WEG-Watt Drive Helical Bevel gearboxes in simulator systems with front servo applications

MFS (Motion for Siamulators) firm from Belgium has a wide range of products in simulator applications. These include systems operating at dynamic loads such as racing car simulators, airplane simulators. MFS is using WEG Group Watt Drive helical bevel gear reducers in front of servo motors in its newly developed multi-axis servo controlled simulators, both efficiency gain and sensitivity with 3′-4 ‘ space values. As a result of this work conducted with with Watt Drive, MFS can respond to variable dynamic loads in its simulator, as well as respond to customer demands such as vibration-free motion.

Simulators vary in axis numbers, speed and force vectors. In addition to developing high bond ratios in 5 stages, Watt Drive can withstand radial and axial loads with its design and gear, allowing high input revolutions (5000 rpm). Watt Drive, in addition to general short delivery time, with shortened time of semi-product deliveries with the assembly line opened in Turkey, fast assembly and after sales spare parts services, serves in Turkey under exclusive distributorship of Turkey.

Helical bevel gearboxes of Watt Drive have come to the fore with a wide variety of servo adapter applications suitable for servo motors, special high bonds and some other features we have mentioned, and according to the deficiencies in the simulator, It can be 2,3 or 6 pieces.

With hydraulic systems, these systems provide the advantage of silent operation as well as the need for electrodynamic systems. Watt Drive contributes to this with its low noise level gearboxes. MFS states that by using highly efficient Watt Drive gearboxes, they can use lower power servo motors and thus gain advantages.
